AI MetaClean is a free, browser-based utility. Use it on copies, verify important results, and do not use metadata removal to deceive or violate another person's rights.
Use of the service
You may use the site to inspect and remove supported metadata from files you are entitled to process. You are responsible for keeping originals and for deciding whether a cleaned file is appropriate for your purpose.
No guarantee of complete anonymity
Metadata removal does not erase visible clues, platform records, server logs held elsewhere, reverse-image matches, pixel-embedded watermarks, or every possible proprietary field. A “clean” report covers only the metadata categories supported by the current version.
Content authenticity
Do not use the service to impersonate others, falsify evidence, evade disclosure duties, remove rights information unlawfully, or misrepresent the origin or history of media.
Important files
Always work on a copy. Open the cleaned output and, when the stakes are high, verify it with an independent tool. AI MetaClean is provided without warranties and is not a substitute for legal, forensic, archival, or publication-specific review.
Availability and changes
File support, limits, and features may change. We may restrict abusive use or discontinue the service. Material changes to these terms will be reflected by a new effective date.
